Latte House misslyckades med nästan precis allt under vårt besök. I början tyckte vi nästan att det var lite sött, hur dåliga kan man vara, liksom? Men ju fler fel som begicks, ju sämre humör blev vi på. Ska se om jag kommer ihåg alla fel …
Vi beställde en grekisk sallad, en räksallad och en ost- och skinksallad. Menyn, som satt på stora skyltar på väggen, listade alla ingredienser i rätterna. Typ: Grekisk sallad: isbergssallad, gurka, tomat, fetaost, rödlök och oliver. Jättebra att alla ingredienser står! Då kunde jag beställa en grekisk sallad utan lök och mamma få sin räksallad utan majs. På läskkylen stod det 25 kr på dörren för 33-centilitersflaskorna och 25 kr på dörren för 50-centilitersflaskorna. Jag beställde en Coca Cola Zero och fick förstås den lilla varianten. Nu ville jag bara ha 33 centiliter så sa inte till, men riktigt fult att ge kunden den lilla när den stora kostar lika mycket (och konstig prissättning!).
Vi satte oss ned och väntade. Efter ett tag ropade de och undrade vad vi ville ha för dressing. Grekisk = ingen, räk = olja/vinäger och ost- och skinka = curry svarade vi. Nej, olja/vinäger hade de inte, fast det stod på menyn. Men vi har en jättegod som heter Rhode ISland (alltså uttalat på svenska). Servitrisen trodde de uppfunnit den själva … Och curry fanns inte, men mangocurry fanns. Nej, inte enligt menyn påpekade vi. Aha, ok, curry hade de. Vi väntade lite till och sen ropade de igen: vad vill ni ha för dressingar? Äh, vi sa ju just det? Det verkade hon inte ha något minne av. Så samma procedur igen. Med svaret ”man kan bara få dressing på sallad, inte macka”. Så bra, eftersom vi beställt sallader och inga mackor …
Och så väntade vi igen. Till slut kom den grekiska salladen. Den fullkomligt badade i vatten. Och hade en extra ingrediens: groddar (urk!). Några minuters väntan. Så kom räksallade. Full med pasta. Eftersom mamma hatar psatasallad sa hon till. Och fick ett mycket surt svar att, ”ja, det är pastasallad”. Jag har inte beställt pastasallad, jag vill inte ha pasta. ”Alla våra sallader är pastasallad”. Mamma pekar på min tallrik, som ju inte har pasta. ”Ja, alla utom den grekiska”. Jaha, ok, hur ska vi veta det? Servitrisens ”så är det” gav vi inte mycket för. Ingenstans stod det något om pasta. Surt tog servitrisen bort mammas tallrik. Och så kom Johan sallad. Fullkomligt dyngsur den också. Efter några minuter var det dags för andra försöket med räksalladen. Nu utan pasta men full av majs. Och jätteblöt. Förstås.
Tyvärr var inte lokalen bättre än maten. Illgul med illröda inslag. Kul med färg, men ofta tar man en fika eller lunch för att få en paus. Här fick man mest migrän.

Jag håller fullständigt med dig det är det sämsta cafe lr salladsbar jag nånsin varit på den är riktigt urusel. personalen är såå outbildad att det är skrämmande och de tror att de är bäst och att de uppfinner allt som finns där inne. och inredningen,,,, den skall vi inte en gå in på. Jag fick veta av en som jobbat där att maten hanteras ohygieniskt och att det städas väldigt lite och då även dåligt. Jag avråder alla som vill hålla sig borta från matförgiftning eller magsjuka att gå in dit. Stället borde stänga igen punkt slut!!!!!!! Kramar Della.
går regelbundet, mestadels på morgon, på lattehouse, får alltid serverat nygjord mackor, gott kaffe olika sorter, tyvärr är musiken på morgon för hög för att inspireras att sitta inne, men personalen gör bra jobb, alltid artiga och trevliga, har aldrig upplvet någon smuts eller så, tvärtom, allt ser rent och fräscht ut, har arbetat med förmedlingar av rörelser, cafeer och restauranger och VÄLKOMNAR den gladare färgsättningen på lattehouse, lugna vilsamma glada färger gör stället attraktivt och entresolvåningen, 1 tr upp, går bra att nyttja om man vill ha möte lite avskilt och breda ut sih med papper etc. förstår i n t e den kritik som jag sett framförts, men smaken ju som baken, delad och alla tycker inte lika. genom åren har jag besökt, tror jag ett hundratal caffer, slalladsbarer, restauranger och lattehouse får hittills på en 10 gradig skala, där 10 bäst, en stark 7a.
