Den 3 november stod så Josefine på Kastrups flygplats i Köpenhamn, redo att åka till Prag tillsammans med kollegan Morris för att hålla en föreläsning på en konferens. Medan hon väntade på reskamraten pratade hon i telefon med Johan. Vi tror att det exakta citatet var ”Vadå, betyder det här att vi är ihop nu eller?!”, sagt av Josefine med en halvtjurig röst. Johan sa att precis det var var det betydde. Så Johan firade vår ”bli-ihop-dag” ensam hemma, och Josefine drack champagne på ett flygplan till Tjeckien.

De första två åren tillbringades med 33 mils distans mellan oss. Johan var i Stockholm mycket och Josefine i Oskarshamn när det gick. Totalt lyckades vi tillbringa 50% av tiden tillsammans. Men 2006 tog Johan sitt pick och pack och flyttade till Stockholm.

Under våra år har vi varit på 22 (i dagsläget) utlandsresor tillsammans och även rest mycket i Sverige. Vi har bott i tre olika lägenheter och varit med om en olivoljekatastrof som resulterade i renoveringen från helvetet. Vi har uppmuntrat varandras nörderier, följt med varandra på konserter vi egentligen inte vill gå på (heja Johan som åkte till London för att gå på Bon Jovi!) och hela tiden agerat efter principen att båda har veto i varje fråga.

Förlovningen skedde på Brooklyn Brigde i New York på vår 4-årdag, den 3 november 2008. Johan hade så mycket jetlag på förlovningsmiddagen att han vägrade dricka champagne. Dagen efter var det Josefines tur: jetlagen tvingade hem oss till hotellrummet där hon sussade gott när Obama blev USAs första svarta president och världen utanför firade.
