Häromnatten fick jag ett mail från SöderTV (nej, jag länkar inte, har ingen önskan om att driva trafik till den sajten). De ville att jag skulle bli videobloggare hos dem. Eftersom mailet innehöll allt för lite info bad jag om lite mer fakta. Fick då veta att jag skulle videoblogga gratis och att jag måste stå för kamerautrustning själv (eftersom jag har en iPhone kan jag inte spela in video i min mobil = jag har ingen videoutrustning).
Jag tackade – vänligt – nej eftersom jag inte är intresserad av att arbeta gratis åt ett vinstdrivande företag, jag vill inte köpa utrustning för att arbeta gratis och för att det kan stå i konflikt med meitt vardagsarbete då jag jobabr med TV4 Sverige (lokal-tv med 29 stationer runt om i landet).
Sen borde ju saken vara utagerad. Men nej. Jag får ett otrevligt mail tillbaka där SöderTV hackar ned alla mina argument och tjafsar emot precis allt. Dessutom avslöjar mailskrivaren att projektet hittills kostat sexsiffriga belopp och absolut inte går i vinst. En affärshemlighet att hålla på, kanske?
Det avslutas med att jag ska höra av mig om jag kommer på andra tankar. Som att jag gör det när jag dels redan tackat nej och dels fått ett otrevligt mail.
Så, se upp för SöderTV!
Som sagt såå tråkigt när man är så pass desperat att man inte kan ta ett trevlig nej. samt att lämna t information som man skanske inte ska lämna ut.. men som jag skrev så kommer deras uppförande att visa sig och göra rätt för sig i slutändan…
Men så pinsamt uselt! Vissa företag är verkligen för patetiska. Sådant här fyller mig alltid med vrede.
Jag läser dina inlägg på din blogg och slås av att det ALLTID är negativa inlägg! Väldigt mycket gnäll och det är alltid fel på allt och alla. Du kanske måste vända ditt sätt att se på saker och ting! Dessutom är blir det väldigt tråkig journalistik!
Nina: Trist att du tycker så. Jag håller förstås inte med dig. Det är definitivt inte ALLTID negativa inlägg här. Men lika definitivt är det negativa inlägg ibland. Jag älskar när andra sprider info om företag som besviker, och därför vill jag gärna dela med mig av mina dåliga erfarenheter också.
Men negativ är jag definitivt inte. Tvärtom faktiskt. Jag har till och med ”gjort slut” med vänner och bekanta som är för negativa eftersom det tär för mycket.
Och journalistik är det inte. Jag fungerar inte som journalist här på bloggen, utan som en privatperson som skriver lite.
Och till sist – tycker du att det är tråkigt att läsa här ska du ju förstås inte göra det.

Men jag vänder mig minst lika mycket mot att ett vinstdrivande företag (jo, företaget är vinstdrivande, oavsett om ni gör vinst eller inte) vill att folk arbetar åt dem gratis. Dessutom med egen utrustning. Och det är på intet sätt ditt fel, utan Söder TVs.
Om jag bara var irriterad på dig skulle jag aldrig ”varna” för SöderTV, då skulle jag varna för dig på SöderTV.

Och så en update: SöderTV har bett om ursäkt. Både X, både här ovan och via mail, och ledningen. Och självklart tar jag emot ursäkterna.
Men, igen, vänder mig alltså lika mycket emot att ett företag vill tjäna pengar på att människor arbetar gratis åt dem. För mig är det inte attraktivt och jag skulle önska att alla sa nej till sådant.

Ett vinstdrivande företag som vill tjäna pengar på gratis arbetskraft har jag inget till övers för överhuvudtaget. Vill de ha kvalificerade anställda eller frilansare får de betala marknadsmässiga ersättningar, det är ju alldeles självklart.

Jag har varit arbetslös ett bra jävla tag nu men för några månader sen fick jag ett erbjudande att åka iväg och jobba gratis som dykinstruktör. Dealen var den att dom betalade resan dit, logi och mat. Nu har jag kommit hem igen och är så himla glad att jag tog den här chansen och gjorde det här ”gratis” jobbet som det faktiskt var. Fick en otrolig arbetslivserfarenhet och en fantastisk upplevelse på köpet.
Jag kan förstå varför folk kan tänka sig att jobba gratis när det gäller saker som kan gynna en själv i sitt arbetsliv. Pengarna kanske inte är allt 😉
Personligen har jag följt din blogg ett tag nu och skulle tycka det vara rätt fränt om du videobloggade om ditt liv, kanske inte på just SöderTV 😉
Sandra: klart att det kan vara rätt för vissa att arbeta gratis ibland. Jag har själv arbetat gratis på två olika sajter tidigare i mitt liv. Men för mig är det viktigt att ingen annan ska tjäna pengar på att jag arbetar gratis (i de två fall jag just nämnde drevs sajterna ideellt). Det jag dessutom vände mig emot i SöderTV-fallet var ju att de inte ens höll med utrustning.
Men! Om någon frågade om jag – mot resa, logi och mat – ville åka och jobba gratis utomlands en begränsad tid så skulle jag knappast tveka!
