Sällskapet beställde:
En Big rib eye bbq-plate – 200 gram grillad entrecotê. Till den serveras BBQ-blues sauce, bearnaisesås, vitlökssmör, liten sallad och pommes frites. Dessutom beställdes lökringar. Och en Angelini Burger – 200 g amerikanskt nötkött som mals vid beställning. Serveras med rostat lökbröd, cheddar, sallad, pommes frites och Heinz tillbehörsbricka. Vi beställde också en Strawberry Donut – friterad munk, jordgubbsgelé & mjölkchokladglass.

Utlåtande:
Angelini är ett ”italian american kitchen” i Umeå. Restaurangen hör till ett hotell och det kan nog förklara varför det är lite öde, matsalen är helt enkelt för stor för kvällar, men säkert perfekt för hotellfrukost. När vi beställer varsitt glas champagne blir det lite rörigt, en halvflaska åker fram och servitrisen lyckas smälla korken och hälla champagne på golvet. Men om det har med Angelini eller Umeå att göra låter vi vara osagt. 🙂

Maten då? Det lät roligare i menyn än i verkligheten. Kryddsmöret var mer smör och mindre kryddor. Lökringarnas frityr smakade kinakrog och Heinz tillbehörsbricka var ketchup, senap och mayo i småburkar. Dessutom var pommes fritesen lite råa. Däremot var själva biffen i hamburgaren helt outstanding. Det märktes att den var alldeles nymald.

Desserten var rolig, och god. Munken var väl sådär, men mjölkchokladglassen helt fantastisk.

Inredningen var kul och lite annorlunda. Mycket organge och turkost. Belysningen gick i flera olika färger och golvet lagt i diamantformer.
