Gudrun Schyman stod i dag i Almedalen och eldade upp 100 000 kronor för att protestera mot att kvinnor har lägre lön än män.

Jag håller förstås med henne i sak, det är vidrigt att människor inte har lika lön för lika jobb, men att ELDA upp 100 000 kronor. Det är så vidrigt att jag blir illamående.

På Twitter diskuteras detta förstås ordentligt. Meningar framförs om att det blir bra PR, att man inte ens får en halvsidas annonsutrymme i tidningarna för den summan, att ändamålen helgar medlen, att alla andra i Almedalen bränner samma summa på skit osv. Och självklart resulterar det i enormt mycket PR för Fi och Gudrun Schyman, och självklart är det egentligen en struntsumma i Almedalen-/PR-sammanhang. Men ändå. Symbolen att elda upp 100 000 kronor (eller för den delen 100 kronor) är för mig som att spotta människor med ekonomiska problem (eller människor som inte lever i ekonomiskt överflöd) i ansiktet. Sverige har barn som inte vågar gå till skolan alla dagar för att de inte har råd med matsäck till utflykten. Och Gudrun eldar upp pengar.
