Häromdagen skrev jag om allt extrajobb hantverkarna gör i sovrummet. Idag upptäckte jag att de gör ytterligare en sak: målar fönstren. Jag fattar det (nästan) fortfarande inte: vi beställde nedtagning av tapeter + målning och de renoverar varje millimeter av rummet.
Men de får jobba hårt. I kakelugnsrummet och i gårdsrummet var det plasttapet fogat med latex på väggarna. Väldigt svårt att få ned men framförallt, visade det sig, torkar det ut väggarna. Exempel: ovanför fönstret var det hål efter en gardinstång. Spackel, slipning, målning. Men när väggen blir blöt av färg händer märkliga saker: gipset i väggarna torkar, blir pulver och trillar ut. Ett gardinstångshål blir en krater. (Kanske därför gardiner och liknande satt uppe med både skruv och klister?). Plasttapeten har strypt syretillförseln och väggarna har torkat ut. Igen: jag är glad att vi har ett fastprisavtal med perfektionister.
